ACTIVITY DAY

Plans all activities and games in collaboration with the Principal and staff.  Hire vendors, lead volunteers, and procure supplies needed to host the much anticipated END OF THE YEAR Activity Day with outside games and food.

BACK TO SCHOOL EVENTS

The PTO Board plans the “back to school” welcome celebration for teachers as well as setting up a table at Assessments and Open House.

BOOK FAIRS

Plans and organizes two to three book fairs throughout the school year. Works closely with Scholastic representative and the creative team to host creatively themed book fairs.

CULVER'S NIGHTS/COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Once a month, LME hosts a "Culver's Night" at Culver's in Lakeville where families can come together as a community to support their school.  15% of the proceeds go to the PTO every second Tuesday of each month throughout the school year!

LOST AND FOUND

Straightens and organizes items deposited in the Lost and Found racks. Works with school to schedule donation of unclaimed items to local charity.

I LOVE TO READ PROGRAM

Promotes and organizes school-wide reading event during “I Love to Read” month in February.

SCHOOL PICTURE DAYS

Coordinates volunteers to help prepare students for pictures and oversees fall and spring picture day events.

SCHOOL SUPPLY PROGRAM

Coordinates grade-level school supply lists, and works with School Tool Box representative to set up sales event details in May though August.

SPIRIT WEEK AND FOOD DRIVE

Promotes LME CATS spirit throughout the school year and especially during the spring Spirit Week which includes a food drive to support our local food shelf.

STAFF APPRECIATION

Plans scheduled staff appreciation events throughout the year and organizes daily events during Staff Appreciation Week in May to show gratitude for our school staff.

 WALK-A-THON

Organizes and plans the all-school walk-a-thon fundraiser that takes place during school hours in October.

YEARBOOK

Takes and collects photos throughout the year and works with the yearbook software program to produce the school yearbook.
